Kumaryasava
Kumaryasava is a liquid Ayurvedic preparation, which is also known as Kumari Asava. The main ingredient in this preparation is Kumari (Aloe vera). It is used in the treatment of abdominal distention, bloating, respiratory conditions like cough, cold, wheezing, piles, vata imbalance diseases and certain neurological conditions.

Benefits –
• Indigestion
Kumaryasava is a useful remedy for indigestion. It improves Pachak Agni (digestive fire) which helps to reduce Ama and manage the symptoms of indigestion.
• Anorexia
Kumaryasava helps to reduce anorexia because of its Deepan (appetizer) and Pachan (digestion) properties. This helps to improve the digestive fire and reduce Ama which is the prime cause of anorexia.
• Liver Disorders
It is very effective against jaundice, liver enlargement, and other liver disorders. This is because it protects the liver from infection and helps to maintain its proper function due to its liver protective property.
• Dysmenorrhea
An aggravated Vata dosha can be attributed to the symptoms of dysmenorrhea. Kumaryasava helps manage dysmenorrhea due to its Vata balancing property. It also helps relax the muscles and gives relief from cramps.
• Asthma
It helps to clear the obstruction in the air passage due to its detoxification property. This helps in easy breathing in asthma because of its Vata Kapha balancing properties.
• Kidney Stones
Kumaryasava helps in the management of kidney stones due to its Vata and Kapha balancing properties. It helps to remove the calculus from the kidney due to its detoxification property.
Precautions –
