Panchatikta Ghrita

Panchatikta Ghrita, the ghee-based Ayurvedic medicine, is a traditional remedy that has been used for many centuries for treating sudden breakouts of psoriasis, brittle bones, and bone degeneration. Prized for its pitta balancing abilities, Panchatikta ghrita, which is greasy to touch, provides instant hydration to the skin and reduces dry, flaky skin.
Ingredients –
Panchatikta ghee is predominantly a mix of following herbs –

• neem
• adoosa(vasa)
• harad( Haritaki)
• baheda( Bibhitaki)
• amla
• giloy
• ghee.
In smaller quantities, it also contains other ingredients like
• patola
• vyaghri
Dosage –
This plant-based medicine is usually recommended for up to ¼ spoon daily, preferably after meals or as directed by your physician.

Panchatikta Ghrita might help in eczema due to its Pitta balancing and Shodhan (detoxification) properties. This helps reduce the symptoms of eczema like itching and irritation and provides a cooling effect to the affected area.
• Bone Disorders
Panchatikta Ghrita is recommended highly for chronic bone conditions, including osteoporosis, osteopenia, arthritis, etc. This medicine’s Snigdha or oily properties prevent bone dehydration, improve collagen, and repair bone tissues.

Precautions –
