Bhringraj
Bhringraj is an important Ayurveda herb, widely used in hair fall treatment, liver disorders, skin diseases etc. Its botanical name is Eclipta alba and belongs to Asteraceae family. It’s english name is False daisy.
It is a weed of moist places and up to 5000 ft in hills. Also found as a common weed of paddy fields and across water channels. Stem is cylindrical or flat, rough due to appressed white hairs, nodes distinct and greenish occasionally brownish.
